Massive Gun Ban Bill fails in Illinois
Illinois already has the most gun control of any state. As a results, gun violence is surging! Innocent people are not allowed to protect themselves from the heavily armed thugs.
Democrats in the state senate tried to further disarm the law abiding public with a bill to ban ALL semi-automatic rifles. It would also launch a forced registration system, the first step in a forced confiscation scheme. Law abiding citizens would have to voluntarily report to a government agency and register all their guns (even though they are already registered with the Federal Government). Throughout history, every single forced registration scheme has led directly to forced confiscation. The Chicago media went all out to support the draconian bill.
The latest word from the Statehouse is that Democrats are pulling the bill due to lack of support.
